Avon is delighted to announce that it is holding it's first ever Trade Show in Auckland with international guests from Valiani, Crescent and Peterboro. The founder of Valiani, Franco Valiani will be here to talk about his company's computerised matcutting machines, Kathleen Schaefer, the Director of International sales from Crescent will give a presentation on the Crescent matboard range and Bernard Ruhl the International Sales & Marketing Manager for Peterboro will discuss the Peterboro matboard range. There will be substantial discounts on the night on machinery and other products with machinery demonstrations and delicious food and drink.
We welcomed Penny Swan to our sales team in May. Penny is our new Account Manager for Christchurch. Penny loves art and is a member of various art groups in Christchurch and is already known to a number of our customers. Penny spent a week with Sue visiting a number of customers and said she was "disappointed" when the week ended as she had so much fun. Penny will be a great addition to our team.
Three new Italian Classic ranges were introduced in April, the colourful Paintbox range with many bright colours to liven up a wall, the Sigaro range of three lovely rich wood colours with a classic contemporary look and the Fiore range of stunning gold, silver, white and black semi ornate profiles. Another new range was also released - Havana , faux timber designed to imitate natural, heavy grain timbers. These are beautiful with a deep grain finish and look amazing once joined and around artwork.
We have two extensive matboard ranges to offer our customers - Crescent & Peterboro. There is a colour for every work of art. Both Crescent and Peterboro are licensed by the Fine Art Trade Guild. As well as a huge range of colours and specialty textures and suedes we have supersized boards available in the Crescent range from March 2014.
